Coakes Memorial Cup
1. The competition shall be open to all clubs registered with the DSMBA and will be played between the 1st September and 30th June.
2. Only players registered with the ESMBA, through the DSMBA, shall be eligible to take part.
3. The competition will be played as an inter-club knockout. Therefore, players shall be a member of the club for which they compete.
4. ESMBA rules will apply, except that there shall be no dead ends. If the jack is knocked off the mat, two shots shall be awarded to the opposing team and the end shall count as an end played.
5. A team shall consist of ten players and only one team may be entered per club. Each player may only compete in one discipline.
6. Ties, up to the final, shall be played as home and away fixtures. The first named club in the draw shall normally play at home first. The highest aggregate shots from the two legs will determine the winner of the tie. In the event of an equal aggregate score the singles players shall play an extra end, after the second leg is complete, to determine the winner.
7. The final will be played over one leg at a neutral venue. The highest aggregate shots will determine the winner. In the event of an equal aggregate score the singles players shall play an extra end, to determine the winner.

The competition shall be played as one
game of singles, one pairs, one triples and one fours in the following format:
Singles - 4 woods 12 ends
Pairs - 3 woods 9 ends
Triples - 2 woods 9 ends
Fours - 2 woods 8 ends
9. The order of play shall be pairs and triples followed by singles and fours.
10. Two trial ends may be played before the pairs and triples and singles and fours.
11. Closing dates for all rounds will be supplied with the draw. Ties must be played by the closing date for the round. Failure to do so may result in the elimination of one or both clubs from the competition.
12. For each leg of the tie, the home team is responsible for ensuring that the result is forwarded to the organiser within four days of completion of the leg.
13. An entry fee of £10 is payable on submission of an entry form.
